Merlin is an energetic boy who loves to race up and down the garden, and have belly rubs and head scratches.
Merlin had a very rough start in life, and ended up caged all alone and in a deplorable state in a kill shelter. He was hours from being put to sleep when a kind person alerted us to his plight. We immediately brought him in. Merlin was malnourished, emaciated and worst of all his spirit was broken. Not long after being rescued, he almost died when he caught tick fever, but with a lot of TLC and encouragement, this boy made an amazing recovery.
Merlin would do well with another dog, who could encourage him to blossom at his own pace.
