We found Teddy severly injured and in great pain a few months ago at Muzium Negara. He would not let us get near, but with our friends' help from TNRM we managed to catch him the very next day.
Amputation of both his hind legs was looming, and Teddy had to undergo an 5.5 hours long surgery. Thanks to the wonderful job of his vets his legs could be saved! Teddy is now able to run, jump and do all the things a young cat his age wants to do, without any loss in quality of life, and just a tiny limping handicap remaining, as one leg could not be 100% aligned.
While a bit shy at first, Teddy warmed up to his fosterers within a few weeks, and has become a cuddly, obedient darling. He likes to play and tussle with his kitten friend Mel, and spend the day napping, eating and watching squirrels. Teddy is looking for a loving family to take him in, wholeheartedly embrace this friendly little fellow and show him that life has good sides too. If his new cat parent's heart is big enough for 2, Teddy would love to keep Mel at his side.
