Almond is one of three pups up for adoption. Rescued from a local mechanic shop, she has been fostered in a home with young children and has received lots of attention.
The prettiest of the group, she is mainly white, with brown patches on her face and black rimmed soulful eyes. People are immediately drawn to her cuteness and she knows how to gaze into your eyes to get all the cuddles! Almond will happily curl up in your lap or next to you and fall asleep, and just wants to be near her hoomans as much as possible. She is often favoured above her siblings for cuddles and hugs because she is so calm and loving.
She loves to play games and is quite intelligent and food driven. She is responding well to training and can sit on command and is learning to walk on a leash. She can be a little aggressive with other dogs at meal times, but is otherwise beautifully tempered, and fantastic around kids of all ages. She would be better suited to a household with no other dogs, particularly no male dogs.
Almond would make a great family pet or couple pet. Not a barker, though does get a little upset when left alone. Not suitable as a guard dog. She will grow to be medium in size and has a short, easy to maintain coat.
