When we found out that Boy was abandoned by his family in the streets of Old Klang Road, we finally found him after 1 month, soaked and underweight. He is traumatised, and he would hide at a corner shaking. But don't let his cowardice fool you; once he has warmed up with you, he will shower you with kisses and snug his face at his favourite place-- your armpit! 😆
Boy is definitely a fighter. He had his first ever vet visit during the first week we fostered him and strived through the stress of being in the hospital. He has grown from 10.4kg to 14.7kg in 4 months and his ideal weight should be 20kg. He might limp from time to time as according to the doctor, it could be due to an old injury when he was very young which was never treated. This has resulted in his femoral head grinding against his pelvic socket which now no longer has a socket that holds its femur. But this fighter has grown such tough muscle, he speeds like Speedy Gonzales! And because of this, his weight-gaining program needs to be done slowly, and steadily. ✨
Once you have gained his trust, he is the most manja boy that will follow you wherever you go and sit by your side as he waits for your hand to reach out and pet him. 💕
