Angel is originally from Brunei, and has been with our family since she was around 5mths old. She was a hand-reared ‘rescue puppy’ whose mother had killed the rest of the litter.

She is a sweet-tempered, loyal and affectionate dog, but is wary of strangers, other dogs and young children. Consequently, she would be best in a home where she is the only pet and where there are no children.

She is obedient and walks well on and off the lead.

She also knows a few tricks and basic commands.

HEALTHCARE ISSUES:
Angel has some heart damage, but this is not causing her any mobility or breathing problems for now, and she is not currently on any medication for it. She has no problem in enjoying daily walks of 30 mins or less, on flat terrain.
Angel is allergic to wheat and gluten, and cannot tolerate this in her diet. If causes her to develop eczema-like sores all over her body, but these heal again unaided as soon as the gluten is removed from her diet.
Nail-clipping, 2 - 3 times a year, unfortunately has to be done under general anaesthetic: Angel has never been willing to tolerate having her nails clipped and becomes extremely distressed if you attempt it. Date of last clipping: May 2021.

Our family are moving to Bahrain in early August, and we do not believe it is appropriate to subject her to the stressful journey, given her age and heart condition.

At 9 years old, we do not anticipate that Angel will live much more than another 15 -18 months. However, she is currently active and enjoying life, and we hope dearly that she can be found another loving home for this final phase of her life.
