Arthur was abandoned at Muzium Negara as a young boy, malnourished, scruffy but friendly and open from the very start. With food and care he quickly recovered, gained weight and integrated easily into the stray cat group.
One day the museum management called DBKL to have the cats taken to the city pound. Although we were able to evacuate Arthur in time, the intense stress caused him to become ill and contract FIP. The disease was thought to be incurable until recently, and it was only by chance that we found out about a new drug that allowed Arthur to recover completely within a few months’ time. We recently celebrated the day of his rebirth for the first time!
Today, Arthur is a healthy and good-natured boy who likes to play and tussle with his BFF Orange, another rescue from the museum. Together they like to spend the day napping, eating and going on little evening walks right by the house.
Arthur is looking for a loving family to take him in, hoping his new cat parent's heart is big enough for 2, as he would love to keep Orange at his side. Since Arthur enjoys being outside nearby the house during the day, he cannot be kept in a condo. His new home would ideally be a landed house in a quiet neighborhood. Arthur is vaccinated against cat flu & rabies; he also is microchipped.
