Texas is a very gentle, affectionate boi who loves putting his head in your palm and flashing you his doe eyes, asking for scritches. He loves chicken and chasing string. Extremely easy going and requires some warming up but quickly trusts humans. He's quiet when he feels shy or scared but once he feels confident he's loves to chit chat.
Texas was originally adopted in July 2020. The adopter had visa troubles and had to leave the country and couldn't take him. He's currently being fostered indoors.
Texas is FIV+ but is asymptomatic and healthy. With good food and attentive humans, cats with FIV can have just as long and healthy lives as cats without. It's also safe to share food/water with non-FIV cats as it only spreads via deep bite wounds or reproduction. Since Texas is a gentle soul and neutered, a basic integration process will guarantee him a perfect addition to your cat fam.
Non-negotiable conditions:
- fully indoors
- cage-free
- cat-proof balcony/windows
- good nutrition
- medical attention at first sign of illness
