Garfield is a friendly and gentle boy who was rescued as a stray at Muzium Negara and saved from getting caught and sent to the city’s pound.

Calm and sociable, Garfield loves to play and tussle with younger cats and kittens (see video below). During the day, he enjoys extended beauty naps on the porch or strolls close-by the house, returning just in time for dinner and sleeping safely inside at night.

Garfield likes to cuddle and get groomed. He is quite sensitive and will get attached to his human(s). Though he is generally very balanced and peaceful, adult males are often not keen on him. He will make a great solo cat or pair well with a youngster or a friendly adult cat. His ideal new home will be a landed house with a cat proofed yard in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

Adoption Conditions:
1. Adopter must have a stable income.
2. Adopter must commit to care for Garfield for life and to never give him up.
3. Garfield is overall a healthy boy. However, as with every beloved pet, he must be taken to the vet for regular checkups. Needless to say he must be taken to the vet promptly if he seems ill.
5. Garfield must be fed a quality diet of wet cat food, with little to no kibbles.
6. Regular updates by whatsapp with photos must be provided until Garfield has settled in to his new home.
