Update - BEAR HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! Thank you to all who enquired about this lovely little lion! And a big thanks to Bear’s new Mum for adopting him!
Bear is an adventurous, go-getter and a lovable rogue. He loves playing and exploring, as much as he loves cuddles and sleeping on your lap, chest or shoulders.
He was initially found wandering alone, without a mother or other pack kittens, by a Good Samaritan, who then placed him with a local homeless man who does his best to care for strays.
When I found him, he was living inside a small cage, packed with 6 other older kittens, who would push and overpower bear.
The older kittens had learned to eat on their own, but bear was still only weeks old, unable to eat, and constantly searching for a source of milk, his only solace was to curl up in a ball under a dirty blanket or play in the soiled litter box. One of his eyes was closed shut due to infection and his other eye was on the way to fully closing too.
I knew I needed to give him a chance at living, so I took him from the cage, headed to my local vet and hoped for the best.
Well, the good news is that after a course of antibiotics, regular eye cleaning and a whole lot of love, Bear has bounced back! He’s growing strong and has become an adventurous little tyke, who walks around with an aura of leadership and charisma, hence his pseudonym - Bossman!
He would be a great addition to any home, he gets on well with other cats and love kids and adults. He’s very protective and loving and has a little lion roar!
His fur is soft and lush and his eyes are now fully healed.
He loves sitting on your shoulder and grooming himself and you too! And likes giving kisses on your cheeks, so keep a tissue handy!
I would love to keep him as I have grown quite attached, however my home is not the best place for a roaming pack leader like bear.
If you’re interested, please drop me a message, I want the best for Bear so I’m looking for the best home for him. He’s no more than a month old.
Thanks
