Coconut was in a bad state when she was rescued. The poor little kitten had been stuck on a rat glue trap! The rescuer took her straight to the vet and, once the glue was mostly removed, they discovered she was a healthy little girl. When she reached us for foster care, we took the remaining bits of glue off with coconut oil, so named her Coconut.
Amazingly after her ordeal, Coconut is the most affectionate kitten you could meet. She is constantly purring, and will rush to you when you come in the room. She loves to play with cat toys, and to cuddle in your arms.
The story of Coconut's rescued was featured in this article (cut and paste the link address):

As kittens are very adventurous but have no idea of heights, we could not adopt Coconut into an apartment unless it was well cat-proofed, as tragic accidents can occur.
Could you open your hearts and home to this little darling?
