Chutney and Jam were found on the streets in Shah Alam without a mother and suffering from terrible eye infections. The poor babies were so vulnerable and in need of urgent medical assistance.
They were taken straight to a vet who boarded them for a week and treated with antibiotics and eye medication.
Jam is blind and Chutney has vision in one eye only. But this minor disability doesn't hold them back! These are the most loving, friendly, playful kittens I have met in a long time! They love to wrestle, play with string and snuggle together. They are truly bonded and we would like to find them a home together with someone kind who can take good care.
Blindness does not create big problems for kittens since they have really good sense of smell and are able to navigate around without using their eyes! Since they have been in my care, they have had no problems finding their food or litter box (in a small room to begin with, until they are bigger). They eat kibbles well. Because these kittens are blind from a young age, they have adjusted fast and will live a long, happy and healthy life without walking into walls! :-D
