I rescued this guy while passing through an alley in Bukit Bintang. When I first saw him, he looks absolutely terrible. His eyes and nose was covered in a thick layer of mucus. He could barely see what is going on around him. He couldn't see and react to another cat knocking him over while running from me when I was trying to get close to them. When I brought him home, he could not eat by himself properly because he could not smell the food. Knowing that he has a bad case of flu, I've got him hospitalized for 8 days in One Ampang Vet clinic and continued his treatment at home for another two weeks. Now he has made a full recovery and is ready to find his forever home.
About him:
- He really loves playing with human and other cats. Even when he was sick, he still asked for me to play with him whenever I were in the room with him. Upon meeting other cats, he immediately started to play with them, regardless of how they think of him. Due to his friendliness, he is a great fit to any family.
- He is really quiet. He rarely meows for attention and will not disturb you when you are not interacting with him. Which makes him really suitable for people who are working from home and do not want distraction during conference calls.
- He can eat anything that was given to him and he eats well. But I recommend the future adopter to not to give him human food, as the amount of salt, sugar and seasoning is way higher than that he body can handle. Boiled chicken fillet without salt is an exception.
- He is really skillful with the litter box and he takes care of his personal hygiene well.
- He has been dewormed and deflead. He has not been vaccinated yet.
Conditions of adoption are simple:
1. Keep him indoors but not caged. No free-roaming outdoor to prevent him from catching diseases or getting into dangerous situations like getting hit by vehicles or getting chased by stray dogs. It is also safer for his human family so that he doesn't bring back contagious conditions like ringworm.
2. Get him vaccinated and medical attention as and when required.
3. Get him neutered when he is old enough (around 8 month of age).
It is advisable for potential adopters to come to my apartment to meet him in person to see if he is compatible with you before deciding on adopting him.
