Sinatra is a handsome boy who was TNR'ed (trap-neutered-returned) back in May 2019. At the time, he was not friendly, but over time through persistent feeding, his rescuer noticed him becoming more and more comfortable with humans. Eventually, she was able to pet him, carry him, no problem. He was brought indoors without any fuss whatsoever and fully vetted.
Sinatra is about 5 years old, and very healthy. He's been defleaed, dewormed, vaccinated, neutered, and he tested positive for FIV, and negative for FeLV. Despite his FIV carrier status, he has no symptoms and as long as he stays indoors with nutritious food and annual vet check-ups, he's expected to live a long, full life. FIV is not cat AIDS and it is not a death sentence by any means.
He's also a very chill, gentle boy. He doesn't quite understand how to play yet, but he definitely understands the value of napping in the sun, on something soft, and getting love from his foster home. He's also now very snuggly and a world-class cuddler! He would be the perfect starter cat for a first-time cat parent. He has not been tested with another cat, but with a proper integration procedure, we believe he may be able to get along with another cat. He's a real gentle giant!
