Note from the owners: Rocky has been with us since he was a baby and we have loved him like part of the family. It saddens us terribly that we now have to part as we are moving and are unable to keep him. He is MKA certified and he is great with kids and still loves to act like he is still a puppy. Loves attention and gets along great with other pets too. Anyone willing to give him a GOOD HOME, please let me know.
as u said, he's been with u since he was a baby n he's part of the family... pls pls pls dun give away ur family member after 10 good years he has given u... perhaps u can work something out? perhaps the dog can move with u? pls reconsider... otherwise, i hope a good home is available for Rocky... do keep us posted... :)
Pls don't worry about the age. These lovable dogs can easily live for 13 years, but given the right nutrition Beagles can often live up to 16 years of age.
thanks for the comments.. unfortunately nope, still waiting for a potential owner to come by. i have received calls stating interest.... but somehow when i wanted to visit their prmises.. they clam up. Any potential owners that you are aware of andy?
hey just a thought... if u can't find a good home for rocky, would u consider a retirement home for him? Noah's Ark animal sanctuary in johor has a retirement program, which is suitable for owners like urself who cannot keep the dog anymore... there is a mthly fee for upkeeping of the dog...
Dlee, I suggest that you don't request to visit their premises on the initial call. Too many questions might scare them off =)
After some basic introduction and learning about why they are interested in adopting the pet, you can schedule for a few of these adopters to come and visit Rocky. You can find out more from them at that time.
For those that did not call back, maybe you can try giving them a call again and invite them over to meet Rocky. We'll have some ads starting again tomorrow, so you should receive new enquiries as well.
Pls be responsible for the rest of its lifespan, as he is already age 10, if you're willing to adopt him, pls be physically and mentally get ready to treat him well, patient and spent your time with him until the end of its day. Aged dog takes time to care, imagine you being dumped by ur long-term partner when you're old. So I think this dog might lack of confidence also... pls pls pls..take good care of him. It is appreciative you someone do so...
Nope.. Brought him over to a potential home but he is simply not getting along with the three cats they currently have... I will have to go back to pick him up. Guys/Gals, know of any good people who would be able to give him a good home? Please do let me know.
hmmm... did u get a lot of calls enquiring abt Rocky? there's currently also a senior dog for adoption, 8yrs old female ECS, n apparently many ppl r interested... i guess 2 yrs apart makes a difference? do u hv a time frame by when u hv to rehome Rocky? when r u moving? is there a fall back plan, in worst case scenario, u cant find someone to adopt him? i'll re-send the email abt Rocky to my contacts again...
Will post photos up soonest.... as for now, he is currently at a pet shop - puppy cottage (TTDI), those interested could visit him there.. :'( he does deserve a good home. Do wish Rocky luck with finding a good owner
