Chubby is my first hamster, actually they came in pair. Unfortunately, the partner died after a few month giving birth to 4 pups - 3 females and a male (died T_T).

He is very healthy and almost never bite (I got bitten only once because I tried to separate him from another male. I tried to mix him with another male hamster since i don't want to mix him with the female, and they got into a fight. but he is definitely fine if you mix him with another female =_="

hello hamster are solitary animals.. cannot put 2 or more in 1 cage🥰 1 hamster 1 cage

yup..that's what I've read. my bad we thought it's nice to see them together. well, my first pair was fine together and never fought. i had to separate them a few weeks before the female gave birth. and after that, i avoided putting male and female in the same cage. when the pups was big enough, i thought of putting the male pups (1month+) with their daddy...bad move, that's where i got bitten. so, yeah. now all the adults hamsters have their own cage.
