Custard was rescued from our nearby park, but thankfully in good shape and very friendly! She was baking biscuits on my legs from day 1 and just delighted to be indoors.

She was soon defleaed, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed and was even adopted, but she's been really unhappy in the adopter's home. It seems that she's stressed out by the dynamics of the home, where the humans are stuck at home 24/7 with the other resident cat too, in a small space. We think that Custard would do better in a home where she can have more space to herself, and ideally the only cat. Custard is a very sweet cat, but like many cats, she needs space and time to be herself, as she also has a tendency to lash out when she feels overstimulated.

We are also looking for an adopter who can commit to putting Custard on a healthy diet and getting her weight down, as she's become very overweight in a short span of 6 months, which we believe is affecting her mood too. Some previous experience with cats would be preferred.
