A good Samaritan has written to us asking for help.
She has recently rescued a pregnant mother dog who later on gave birth to 10 puppies. She will be spaying the mother dog soon enough but she just could not cope with the 10 puppies.
She is appealing for public help to adopt the puppies. They are currently 2 weeks old now, eyes have opened and extremely cute. The lady has sent all the puppies for vet checked and had certified that they are healthy. There are 5 males and 5 females.
According to the lady, the mother dog is a pure bred 'wild boar dog' where they are very rare and only can be found wild in the hills, people from the plantation use them to hunt for wild boars and they are very loyal and very obedient while the dad is a rottie mixed.
Those interested to adopt these cute little puppies may contact 012 -421 5719 (Chia-Yi).
Updates as at 2/3/10: 3 puppies have been adopted so far leaving now to 7 puppies.
I have never come across the pure breed of 'wild boar dog' ( as described "where they are very rare and only can be found wild in the hills, people from the plantation use them to hunt for wild boars and they are very loyal and very obedient.) Are they aggressive ? Or are they "estate" dogs?
How do you know the dad is a rottie mixed since the mother was rescued after pregnant?
I'm interested in adoption but wish to know more. TQ
