Ally was rescued in Tambun, Ipoh on 19/9/20. She was in a drain and was unable to get out with what looked like a broken leg. The next day she was taken to the vet in Ipoh and stayed there for a week while awaiting her bloodtest results and x-rays to be done. Ally had a severe hip injury, tick fever, some other blood parasites and she was anemic and severely malnourished.
The doctors in Ipoh were not able to do anything about her hip so I brought her back to KL to see an orthopedic specialist. Before operating, Ally had to put on some weight and her bloodwork had to improve. With lots of nutritious food and antibiotics, after 2 weeks, Ally was scheduled for surgery.
1 week after her first surgery, she went back in and was spayed. With the help of kind people and friends, Ally's bills totalling almost 4k has all been paid for.
She has grown into quite a character over the last 6 weeks, she's very small for a mixed breed, affectionate, loves cuddles and gives a lot of kisses. Playful and loves her food.
She is totally healthy now, her hip is healing well and she is now able to use her leg. She still limps every now and then but that will take time and exercise to rebuild her muscles around that area. She was almost bald when rescued but her fur has also grown back and I think it will get a lot longer in time.
All that's left is to find her a loving place to call home and humans that will love her for the rest of her life. Ally has had a miserable start in life and has a lot of love to give.
