Marshmallow is a huge, squishy, pillow of a cat. When you pick him up, he hugs you tightly, so our vet team joke that he’s all our therapy cat. Our vet team actually TNR’ed (trap-neuter-returned) him in the neighborhood last year, but he showed up again, this time with a giant wound on his head that’s even affecting his eye. He’s been bandaged up, giving him an extra tough look, but what he enjoys the most is getting on his back and getting belly rubs while he bakes air biscuits. He’s the squishiest, most gentle nearly 6 kg cat around!
Marshy has been defleaed, dewormed, vaccinated and neutered. His head wound is still very much recovering, but we will know in another few weeks if it can be more easily managed from home. Sweet boy is FIV positive, as long as Marshy lives indoors with good nutrition and follows up with his vet visits once a year, he can still live a perfectly healthy and long life. FIV only transmits through mating (but he's neutered) or fighting that results in deep puncture wounds (but he's a lover, not a fighter), so it's perfectly safe for Marshy to live in a household with a FIV negative cat, as long as everyone is sterilized and integrated properly.
If you're looking for a snuggly cat you can hug and fall asleep with, Marshy is your boy! He's also great with small children and other animals.

We do have a short application process. We insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough. If you would like to learn more about our work, please check us out on Instagram: @ allergic rescuers kl or on Facebook: Allergic Rescuers KL. Thank you for considering adoption!
