Max was originally a cat our teammate TNR'ed (trap-neutered-returned) but he proved to be so friendly and affectionate, that we decided to bring him indoors.

Max is a big manja goofball who’ll plonk himself at your feet to get your attention. He loves to be right in the middle of the action, and be a part of it all. He just loves being around people, and he has a tendency to grab on to your legs when he wants attention but he means no harm.

He has been defleaed, dewormed, fully vaccinated, neutered, and he tested positive for FIV (no symptoms) and negative for FeLV. FIV is a virus that compromises the immune system, but he can live perfectly with other non-FIV cats. It only transmits through mating (but Max is already neutered) and deep puncture bites through fighting (which can be mitigated through proper integration process). But with indoor living, good nutrition, and annual vet check-ups, FIV cats live normal lifespans of 15-20 years!
