Few months ago, I have discovered a litter of 5 feral kittens. Being feral, they were very unfriendly toward human. However, this guy has done a lousy job of being feral. He did not know how to hunt or how to find food and relied on the food given by me and few other people. He could not stand up to other cats or rats in the area. And he did not dare to venture out of the garden that I have discovered him in.
When he was rescued, he has a bad flu. He would cough nonstop for 5 mins few times per day. After being rescued, he is also infected with diarrhea. It took several trips to the pet clinic and 3 weeks of medicine to finally cure all of his illnesses.
Now he has made a full recovery and is livelier than ever. Nearly a month of living with us has transformed him into an indoor cat. He is totally happy with living in our living room. His main focus is to play around with the toys given to him and to enjoy human attention occasionally. He is also very chill, especially when it comes to bathing.
Being a formerly feral cat, he respects our boundaries. He will not disturb you while you are focusing on your work. He will also not venture into any area that you have shown him that he cannot enter (except for the bedroom as he loves the bed). He enjoys human attention greatly. The face he makes when I was creating a toy ball for him is adorable.
This cat is very suitable for anyone who wants a quite and independent but affectionate cat. You can focus on your work or leave the house to work during the day without worrying about him and still can have a great time playing with him when you are free. However, I would prefer that he is adopted by a patience owner. Since he was a feral cat in the past, it would take more time for him to completely trust the new owner but I guarantee that it will be worth it.
He has been dewormed, deflead and vaccinated (once). He is very clean and is an expert in using the litter box. To collect him, you can either come to my house at Bukit Bintang or use a pet taxi service. You are welcome to drop by my house to meet him before deciding to adopt him also.
