UPDATE September 16, 2020. Shiitake started her one week adoption trial today. Will update in a week's time.
Puchong Babies (Shiitake, Enoki and Minnie (already adopted))was found in a taman somewhere in Puchong on a rainy day all alone without their mama by a good samaritan. Through friends of friends, Sofie received the SOS as the Puchong Babies were so small they can't even really crawl yet and were whimpering non stop. So Sofie took them in hoping one of our two nursing mama cat would take to them. Fortunately for everyone, Mummy Sue (see my listing on Mummy Sue) took to them and nurse them until she stopped lactating about a month ago.
We discovered the Puchong Babies had hookworms when Enoki had one sticking out of his butt after deworming, hence his name. They have all been treated with extensive deworming.
Shiitake is still underweight. We are trying to get her fostered at the moment so she can be better cared for while awaiting adoption. She is very close to her surrogate brother Stripey (see my listing on Stripey) who adores and dots on her. She is quietly playful and a little reserved but I believe that will change as she slowly gets better and reached her ideal weight.
If you are considering adopting Shiitake, you will need to follow up with her deworming meds and feed her at regular intervals as she eats a little but multiple times. You probably need to be a bit creative in her food prep too. She seems to like chicken and pumpkin now:) The reward of nursing her to her full potential will definitely be something you won't ever forget.
Please watsapp us at the number provided should you have further questions and/or if you are interested to adopt.
Do note that our cats must be indoor cat and should not be caged. You must agree to spay/neuter our kittens when they come of age ya.
