Khalon was rescued in absolutely awful shape. He had clearly been starved and possibly trapped somewhere for months to have gotten that skinny. All his bones were visible, and he only weighed 1.8 kg which was just crazy! We took him to the vet and got him fully checked out to make sure his organs hadn't suffered any permanent damage, and miraculously, he was actually in pretty decent shape minus the extremely skinny frame. He also thankfully tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
Since the end of June, we've been on Project Fatten Up Khalon. And he happily complied. Over the last three months, Khalon has more than doubled his intake weight and now is at a healthy 4.3 kg! He's just been neutered, and also received his first vaccination.
Despite this horrific neglect and starvation he endured, he never lost his trust for people. He is immediately friendly and easy-going to everyone he meets, and he absolutely loves baking biscuits on people. He loves to cuddle, he loves to sit on your belly, and he loves to play with a wand toy! Khalon is such a fun and chill cat, he would be a wonderful companion for anyone. Though he hasn't interacted with that many cats, he's come into some contact with the resident cats and he managed to keep his cool so we think that he definitely could be integrated with other cats too. We'd love for him to go to a loving, forever home!

We do have a short application process. We insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough.
