It was around March/April this year when Sofie was feeding the strays around PJ Old Town Taman Selera that Duke came running out from the bushes near a drain towards Sofie meowing non stop. He wasn't so much hungry but rather it appeared that he was looking for someone or just anyone. Sofie has never seen him before and he looked so clean that Sofie believed he had just been abandoned. He continued to follow Sofie (like a little puppy) and meowing away. Sofie felt she had no choice but to take him home:)
A week later, Duke was on a one week trial with an adopter. Unfortunately the adopter decided not to proceed with the adoption. She has two other cats and one of them couldn't get along with Duke. She also felt Duke needed more attention than she could provide. So Duke came back to us.
Duke craves attention. It's as if he wants to 'talk' to you constantly and will follow you around like a puppy. Maybe to make sure you are there and still sayang him and is not leaving him behind? It could be he has abandonment phobia and once he knows he is safe and he is finally home, he could be more relaxed. You should therefore be prepared to let him follow you around and not cage him up and just shower him with loads of attention. I sincerely believe once he knows he's 'home', he will chill and his other hidden/forgotten personalities will come out.
Please watsapp us at the number provided should you have further questions and/or if you are interested to adopt.
Do note that our cats must be indoor cat and should not be caged. You must agree to spay/neuter our kittens when they come of age.
Adoption is open to all malaysians and permanent residents of Malaysia only ya.
