Meet Moon. Moon is an oldie looking for a retirement home. She used to have a person, but was abandoned. Since then, Moon has had to make a life on the streets. Adjusting isn’t easy for pets used to homes. In spite of treatment, ear mites are a recurring issue for her because she is exposed on the streets.

However, her love for humans hasn’t waned. She comes running when she sees familiar faces and will often follow after me and roll over at my feet, asking me to hang out a little while longer.

Most people, understandably, want kittens. So it is difficult to get older cats adopted. But they are often the most gentle loving ones, just looking to chill and cuddle with their humans.
