Angel had a really tough beginning. She was found almost dead in a parking lot, lying in a pool of her own blood. She was immediately rushed to the vet and hospitalized for pneumonia, flu, and sepsis. She only weighed 1.7 kg but miraculously she started recovering. And about 2 weeks into her recovery, she received another devastating diagnosis - wet form of FIP. Feline infectious periotonitis is an often fatal disease caused by a mutation of the common and usually benign corona virus. But we couldn't give up on her and decided to try a miracle trial drug for FIP, and as if a miracle, it started working. She completed her 84+30 day injection period, and her 84+30 day observation period, and was declared an FIP survivor!
Angel is a very intelligent, playful, food-motivated, goofy cat, and can even be easily trained to learn tricks! She's incredibly happy, adapts to new environments well (just give her two days!), and actually really enjoys have a bustling family around. She's a gorgeous, lovely cat for any first-time cat parent or experienced cat family.
Angel has been defleaed, dewormed, vaccinated (doesn't need another one for the next three years) and spayed. She came back from death's door on two separate occasions and now deserves the luxury indoor life for the rest of her life! Angel is also negative for FIV and FeLV. She gets along with other cats, including her bestie foster sister Mary. Please consider adopting them as a pair!
