Hi Fan, in response to ur comment. yes, it's quite hard to get adopter for the mother dog. cuz people like the puppies only. actually, beside me there was an uncle also feeding the mother dog. then, during the raining season as i tried to get adopter for her, this uncle pity her cuz have to stay outside, and she keeps following uncle home. so uncle vaccinated her and at the same time we still find her a new owner. but after some time keeping her, uncle already bonded with her, so when i got an adopter he said to wanna give away d... haha. dun give up, the mother u fostering now will find an owner soon. it is just the mattter of time. perhaps she hasnt met the right owner yet.
Hi smfan, sorry for late reply, my husband and I will normally ask friends around who is interested in adopting the pups/adult dog, we also have a friend who is helping us to temporarily foster the rescued pups. Now we have the same problem again, we found another new batch of pups, they are 4 altogether, so we are feeding them every night. Now still looking for interested owner. My friend is currently not able to take in any more pups coz she is outstation.
Patience.. The right owner might and might not come so be prepared to keep the dog. If not spay and release her, send to PAWS/SPCA is also your options.
hi Fan, good work with rehoming the pups. a suggestion: do write down the name of adopters of the dogs when u update their profile. Sometimes the same ppl keeps calling back for odd reasons. It helps to keep a record. tks
