I am an animal lover especially cats to the chagrin of my neighbours. I find that cats tend to calm me. When I was recovering from two surgeries last year and this year, my two cats accompanied me during my bedrest. At the moment I own 9 cats, fostering 5 cats/kittens and feeding 3-4 strays.
