Hi Jeniena! It is not practical for you to adopt a dog from W. Malaysia, since the expense and quarantine requirements are prohibitive. If you want to adopt a dog, I recommend visiting SPCA Sarawak, which is in Kuching. I think they are the nearest shelter to you. http://www.sspca.sarawak.com.my/modules/web/
