I grew up with cats all my life, and they were all fully indoors. My family and I had cats and rehome them with us. At our peak, we had 23 cats, some we were fostering, others were ours. All cats were free roaming in rooms, never in cages. I've had Mainecoons, Bengals, Persians, British short hair, domestic short and long hairs. All my cats were spayed and regularly vaccinated.
When I was in my 20s, I had an English Mastiff dog and I loved him so much. This big gentle giant taught me to love animals in a way I've never connected with cats.
In my 30s, I took care of my family Persian cat and she lived alone with me in an apartment when I moved out of family home. She had a happy life of up till 14yrs old. I still think of her today.
Now, I'd like to adopt a new cat to live and share a life with me :))
