I'm a pet lover, and I love them to bits. However, I've never really properly taken care of a pet in my life, but that doesn't mean that I don't care for them.

That being said, I'm also a realist. I'm not a person who is above and beyond taking the life of the animal in self-defense if it poses a threat to me, my family or my friends.
