24 🇱🇰🇲🇾 i remember growing up,my grandparents had an awful lot of animals.. they had a variety of dogs, cats and birds.. i remember being so eager to go to my grandparents, i would throw tantrums just to go and stay over, i kinda knew my whole life that that’s when it all started.. loving animals, and most importantly caring for them is such a big responsibility, i remember helping my grandma prepare their meals.. it was A lot.. but she never really complained.. i learnt alot from my family, and how much animals mean to them.. they treat them as family, not so much a pet.. there was so much love to give and i feel so blessed that i was around to experience all that.. i find myself becoming more like my grandparents as the years go by, i’ve always been eager to do what i can for animals, i say animals as in the vast variety..
over the years i have had a variety of dogs, cats, and birds, rodents, and fish as well.. i have yet to get any sort of reptiles because i know its not the right time to do so, maybe one day when i don’t alot on my plate.. but i would definitely love to get a leopard gecko or something similar.. for now i’m just sticking to adopt and rescue..
as for my animals, i currently have 4 doggos, 1 cat, 2 hammies, 2 birbs and a community tank of fishies.. my companions..
dogs. -pug (7y M) the oldest, goodest, lazy lil boy (dad bought him from a breeder) -basset+beagle (5y F) loving, protective, and gentlest girl (adopted/rescued) -labrador (3y M) calm, adoring, adventurous boy(adopted) -australian shepherd+border collie (2y M) timid, goofy, loving big lap dog kinda boy 😂 (adopted/rescued)
cats. -oyen (1y M) and yes he has the typical oyen behaviour, which i find really cute 😂 (adopted/rescued)
hammies. -syrian hamsters. (1.5y M) my fiancé bought them for me after my late hammy passed away due to old age.
birbs. -green quaker parrot (5y M) really boisterous, really naughty, loves to mimic every word i say, although he despises me 😂 he was given to us after my other had passed on due to an accident with the fan.
-blue quaker parrot (2.5y F) loves to sing and whistle, caught the naughtiness syndrome from her brother and became even naughtier than him 🫠 she’s abit of a drama queen and diva, she doesn’t like anyone touching/petting her unless she herself asks for it 😂
