Hi guys!
I've joined a few months and been on the platform daily. I admire many of the rescuers and fosterers and of course the genuine adopters.
I adopted 2 dogs (one 8-year-old and a 1-year-old pup.)A second-generation cat. Second-generation meaning my cat was born at my home and her siblings and mother were our pets until we let other people adopt them. Unfortunately, my cat's mother passed away. I used to own a Bull Terrier too! I had to give up for adoption because I failed miserably in my younger days on how to train it, it was very aggressive when it came to 2 years old until I could no longer control it, lucky the breeder I bought it from, was willing to adopt it back from me and kept it as his own.
Great job and well done to those saving our furry friends and trying so hard to protect them and find them a home.
I have noticed, however, although many "ordinary" breeds (mix or mongrels) are readily available but less or no takers. But when a rare instance a pedigree or Poodle, Husky, Golden Retriever, and other known breeds that would cost a lot to adopt/buy will receive MANY interested parties. it only shows the sincerity of the adopter.
I hope those who are genuine and sincere to save a pet from harm do not discriminate against them.
