Over the years I have had 3 dogs and 1 cat, all were strays rescued from the streets. 2 of my dogs, Shree (13), Guiness (15) passed away of old age as well as my cat Percy (8). My dog Oreo (4) is well. Last month, my wife rescued 3 newborn kittens that were left in a box at the jungle near our house. They were just born and even their umbilical cords were still attached. My wife took them in but they passed away within the week as they had no mother"s milk. Even with with feeding substitute milk every 2 hours, the passed away. My wife was devastated, took a few weeks to get over the deaths but we started helping out at MIAR, that helped with the healing process. After much discussion, we had decided to adopt a kitten seeing that all of Percy"s things are useable.
