Cats, cats, cats...With the help of cat-loving friends in Penang and around the world, we have established "Cat Beach Sanctuary" on the beach in the fishing village of Teluk Bahang in Penang island's northwest corner -- as well as the CAT LOVERS INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY PENANG, a registered nonprofit animal welfare organization.

Cat Beach is literally a 'last (beach) resort' for cats that have nowhere else to go -- found on the streets, in markets, in carparks or given up by owners who can no longer keep them.

Currently we have more than 300+/- cats and kittens rescued from desperate life-or-death situations, Many are healthy, happy, friendly, vaccinated, sterilized, dewormed, defleaed, and very adoptable pets. Come meet them and fall in love!
