Hi.is it easy to have ferret as pets?

Hii, as long as you've done enough research on ferrets, and make sure you know where to find a ferret vet specialist, then basically everything is easy.
But need to ferret proof everything . At 4 hours out of cage, but mine is free roam in my room. Have to monitor them when they're out roaming.
They are pure carnivores, no fruits or vegetables. Only fed meat.
