I have both dogs and cats. They live happily together. I have a preference for pedigrees (for dogs) and non-pedigrees for cats. All my cats are rescues. I have more experience with cats than with dogs but having said that, I have put in more effort and dedication developing my dogs to their fullest potential than I have with my cats. This is mainly because cats are independent and not as needy of, or responsive to, humans. But it doesn't mean cats are not as loving or as loyal as dogs. My philosophy in pet care is in giving my pets the best and fullest life possible. After all, they are not with us for long.
