I have been a pet lover (especially cats) since I was 7 or 8. I raised or rescued multiple stray cats through out my life, from newborns to older cats. Multiple relatives have owned pets before, like birds and I would always spend the most time with them if I come over. But my love and care for cats particularly is very special. About three years ago I moved to Malaysia which not only was stressful and new to me, but also it meant that I had to give up the 1 stray mom and her kitten for adoption, but I got used to raising cats and then giving them up for adoption because I had to move out or them just leaving someday, they are stray cats after all.
