I have 3 cats, adopted the second one and rescued the third though his sibling did not survive.
I have rescued several cats and successfully adopted them out albeit with much perseverance due to promises not fulfilled by 'prospective adopters'. The present kitty I am fostering was supposedly for a 'friend' who wanted to adopt and trusted my better judgement to get him one!!
