I love animals and I cannot walk on knowing of one suffering. Especially when I can help them. As a medical student we are taught about empathy for patients. Empathy is putting yourself in another's shoes. In this case, another's paws.
I couldn't let a kitten die stuck in a storm drain whilst many walked on, ignoring her screams for help. I am nursing her back to health, I removed her fleas, fed her and plan on adopting her out because I cannot keep in the long term b/c I am only in Malaysia for a short time.
