What we do
INTRODUCTION
Pets; our companion, our friend, our partner, our guardian, a part of our life and they have nothing but us. Truth to be told, we owe it to them to be worthy of such devotion. Unfortunately, animal cruelty has always been a point in question in our country.
Every day in Malaysia, pets particularly stray canines are beaten, disregarded, or forced to fight for survival. World widely, of the 600 million canines in the world, approximately 80% are estimated to be strays. According to research, Malaysia does have a large population of canine strays. They have little hope as they live out their days without the love and compassion they deserve.
Over the years, animal lovers have stood by and watched helplessly as municipal council workers handled stray dogs with brute force, pet owners neglected or abandoned their pets, zoo animals continued to live in deplorable conditions, and stray animals were maimed/killed by cruel individuals.
With the great hopes for the future of the canines on our minds, our group consists of independent rescuers that is dedicated to saving the lives of strays and we believe in “Giving every animal a chance to live”. Besides rescuing, we too foster the pets we rescued until they are adopted, rehomed and given the chance to experience how great humans and life could be.
It is utterly up to us to have our say for these creatures that are voiceless, for who will if we don’t?
