My first pet dog was from SPCA and we had her for almost 10 years till she passed away due to old age in her sleep.

My second pet dog was found wandering in the middle of a busy street with raffia string around his neck. My dad rescued him and prevented him from becoming roadkill. Later on we discovered he had Canine Parvovirus 2-B. We sent him for a vaccination and nursed him in our home for another month or so because we could not afford to hospitalise him. He survived and was back to his naughty self.

We then discovered he once belonged to our neighbour who just tied him up and left for a month's holiday. She expected us to give him back for free! Since she did not get him a license and she was obviously not capable of keeping him properly (raffia string?? left alone for a month?) we said no. At least we prevented a mishap from happening.

Unfortunately one day, due to our carelessness, he excitedly ran out of our house to chase after some stray dogs. We could not run after him on time. We did not see him since. We hope that he is safe now.
