My Mom adopted 2 stray cats from my house's back-lane since 2006, they're now our house pet (aka Indoor Cats). And I adopted 5 stray cats since 2008. But these 5 cats CAN'T get along with the Indoor Cats, which is why they have to stay at the back-lane (aka Outdoor Cats).
I soon found out that it's not easy adopting the Outdoor cats. Feeding them, make sure they're in the cage when it rains, protecting them when other stray cats bully them, worrying about their whereabouts, afraid that they might get hit by car/motorbikes...and most importantly afraid that they might be attack by snakes or 'Musang'. Jimmy even caught 3 little snakes about 1 feet long & play with it. I dunno what species are they, I guess they are not poisonous.
More than a year ago I saw a 7 feet python snakes at the bushes next to the back-lane. A cobra snakes was seen nearby too. I only saw them once, both the python & cobra was not seen until now. But the 'Musang' (Civet Cat) is still hanging out in my neighbourhood & back-lane.
Due to all these potential dangers, I decided to find new homes/owners for them. So that they won't be stray cats or Outdoor Cats anymore.
