I am a 51 year of female. I have had a pet dog (Cocker Spaniel, King Charles Breed) for 9 years now. He died last year due to old age. Did not think I want to adopt any dogs earlier as we were staying ia a rented home. Now we are staying in our own home and we feel more committed to adopt a dog. I miss Shaggy, but think i am mentally ready to adopt another dog now.
