Before becoming an ESL teacher, I worked as a veterinary assistant in hospitals on both coasts in Canada for 20 years. I have owned cats, dogs, owls, ferrets, pet ducks and snakes. (Ball pythons).
A cat I rescued in South Korea travelled to Malaysia with me. Since then, I have rescued 5 cats, kept three, and am now looking for a home for Houdini, my latest rescue.
