A nomad of cultures, born in Hong Kong, rooted in Turkish-Pakistani heritage, and residing in Kuala Lumpur, my love for narratives - both in reading and creating them - gave way to why I do what I do today. With my communications and journalism background, I have learned to use words as tools for activism. My stories resonate in five languages and transcend borders, embracing the universality of diverse lived experiences. Through storytelling in this hyper-digital age of social media in particular, I try to cultivate bridges of understanding towards collective understanding and community building.
