I'm a lifelong pet owner and animal lover. I've had dogs and cats as pets my whole life, but I've also had the privilege of caring for hamsters, birds, and even rats.

I volunteered as an animal rescuer for a while, and still help various organizations with fostering rescues and helping them get adopted.
