ChiChi is an adopted intact dog. The unforgettable and bitter moment happened in September 2015 where my beloved dog ChiChi is diagnosed with ovarian cancer. At that time it made me feel like the end of the world. She looks lethargy and no appetite. Vet told me a surgery of ovaries removal will be conducted but ChiChi is at the risk of dying due to her old age of 10. After the surgery the vet told me that the cancerous cells have spread to the other parts of the body. My feeling was weighed down. I feel forlorn and depressed. My face is covered with tear. ChiChi being alive after the surgery is a miracle actually according to the vet in charge. Now, I can only plead and beg gods to spare her life. I go to temple and pray every night. It has passed a year now and she is still alive. Isn’t this a miracle? All this made me to realize the important of spaying. Since then I have been helping the abandoned dogs and cats especially females for sterilization not only to end their risks of getting cancer, also for the sake of overpopulation issue which is getting out of control in my neighborhood. I rehomed many of them and those I can’t I will manage them by feeding. Prior to it, this unforgettable moment has taught me that life is short and don’t take things for granted. Live in the present, cherish every single moment and be happy always.
