It was all dated three years ago when I decided to help to foster a rescued dog from MDDB for a almost month. I brought the puppy back to the rented house where me and my partner were staying. I was glad I did that because my partner was terrified of dogs, and that was the very first time he petted a dog. And since then, he fell in love with them.
The puppy was adopted at the adoption drive! Our life felt a little empty since then. We decided to visit an adoption drive after few days and my partner fell in love with this tiny black puppy. There was a young lady kep carrying and playing with the pup but my partner couldn't take his eyes off the pup. He told me, "Once the lady put down the pup back to the cage, we shall adopt her (the pup is a she)." So we did!
We adopted two more furkids from the streets after the first adoption (after a year). It has been three wonderful years with them. My partner and I live a very productive life with them, we love to do things together for them - cook yummy meals for them, shower them, go for evening walks and short vacations together. There are so much to talk about between us. We love to spend our time together at home. Even though they can be quite cheeky at times, but most of the time they are very well behaved and they never failed to make us laugh everyday.
My partner and I became more responsible and definitely more patient after the three furkids entered our life. We also learned to be understanding and be kind to all living natures. Even though we couldn't afford to save more dogs at the moment, we always try to feed the strays around our housing area because we understand they are not as fortunate as our furkids.
Here's my three wonderful girls... (look at the pic)
