Oh well, let’s just be thankful that Darwin is well and happy now, and I’d rather not dig up the past and find out what happened to the RM1000. It was donated in good faith by my brother, I gave it out of good faith with the understanding that it was used for Darwin’s amputation and transport to his forever home in Langkawi. So, as far as my brother and I are concerned, we did it for a good cause.
We cannot control what others do, so, in life, I’d go by W.H. Auden’s principle that “We are here on earth to do good to others; What others are here for, I don’t know!”. Less headache and heartache that way, right?
Having said that, we must also be wiser and more careful after learning things the hard way, and not continue being a fool!
I wasn’t very well-versed with the ways of the world way back in 2006…a bit of a scaredy cat then. So it was actually my own fault for not asking further for the receipt or news about the dog. Not knowing the other side of the story, I’d prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt. Let’s not jump to conclusions without knowing ALL sides.
Now, let’s talk about the Sunsuper Dreams. Shall we give LASSie a hand? I’m supporting LASSie and the Anti Bear Bile Farming dreams because I feel very passionate about the latter and the bears’ suffering really, really hits me very hard.
